Tam Talk – Fall Series | Wake Up and Smell the Vaping

Parents: It’s time to wake up and smell the vaping!

Vaping is prevalent among our teenagers, and because it’s relatively new, teens and parents may not be well educated about it.

Let’s come together as a community to learn about vaping, so we can have honest and informed conversations with our children. Please join us for this important event to hear a panel of experts and some specially trained Tam High students speak about all aspects of vaping, including how to spot it and how to stop it.

It’s never too early to begin learning about the dangers of vaping. So no matter what grade your child is in, you need to come to this event!

The Panel:

Jasmine Gerraty is a Certified Health Education Specialist, works for Youth Tobacco Prevention and travels all over the Bay educating parents, students, and educators.

Tam High Peer Resource Students that are trained by Stanford Medicine Tobacco Prevention Tool Kit. The students are focusing on drug and alcohol use and prevention education this semester. The main emphasis is going to be on tobacco and vaping.
